This policy explains what information Color Closet ("we," "us") collects when you book an appointment on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you book, we collect only what we need to schedule and manage your appointment:
- Your name and mobile phone number
- The service, date and time you choose, and the deposit amount, if any
- Whether you are a new client, and any notes you choose to add
- The date and time you made the booking and agreed to our policies
Please don't include health information or other sensitive details in your notes unless it's needed for your service.
Payments
Payments are handled by Square on Square's own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card number. Square's handling of your payment information is covered by Square's privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, change or cancel your appointment
- To contact you by call or text about your appointment
- To keep business records, handle refunds, and resolve disputes
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or send you marketing messages from your booking.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help run this website and our booking system, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Supabase, which stores our booking data
- Our website hosting provider, which delivers these pages
- jsDelivr, which delivers a piece of software this site uses to load your booking
- Square, which processes payments
- Lucas Tolman, who built and maintains this booking website and may access booking data to support it
Like any website, our hosting provider and jsDelivr may automatically receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type when pages load. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Analytics and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels. See our Cookie Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for up to two years after your most recent appointment, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve a dispute, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us below. We may keep some records if we're required to by law.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Appointments for anyone under 18 should be booked by a parent or guardian.
Security
We use reputable providers and access controls to protect your information, but no website can guarantee complete security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
